London's Science Museum's Dana Center approached us to design the printed material to communicate their latest artist commissions to come-up with 'Big Ideas' for participatory event in the Dana Centre. The result was an identity that literally illustrated the Dana Centre’s role as a frame from which Big Ideas arise.
Concept
The brief was quite challenging, as we had to work within the strict identity already in place for the Dana Centre while creating a less institutional feel for the Arts Programme.
We came up with the idea of die-cutting the words 'Big Ideas' in the invite and leaflet cover, a simple twist on the original identity that would allow playful variations on the theme while echoing several creative tools and principals e.g. framing problems, zooming in on detail or changing perspective.
