'Never Ever Ever Land' opens during Frieze New York at Anna Kustera Gallery

Anna Kustera Gallery presents Troika in 'Never Ever Ever Land', a group exhibition curated by Natalie Kovacs during Frieze New York.

The intimate unfolds into the sublime. The distinction between quotidian opposites is synthesized into unitarian pairs of disturbing dyads, with a touch of leavening humor to boot. Artists inhabit and feed fantasy-lands of compelling worlds within worlds, and offer them to us as a platform for debates between the highly competitive world of art and design, function and sculpture, rational and the irrational.

Curated by Natalie Kovacs.

Artists include: assume vivid astro focus, Atelier van Lieshout, Peter Fend & Jenny Holzer, Vito Acconci, Noam Gonick, Mollie McKinley, Jen Denike, Joe Kay, Jason Gringler, Lola Schnabel, Blair Chivers, Lita Albuquerque, Alexander Gorlin, Greg Allen Muller, Rob Carter, Jovana Popic, Jennifer Marman & Daniel Borins, Nick Goss, Troika, Daphne Park, Boyfriend/Girlfriend, Omer Arbel

'British Design 1948–2012', Troika at the V&A, London

Troika's Falling Light will be shown at the Victoria & Albert Museum which opens it's doors on the 31 March for 'British Design 1948–2012: Innovation in the Modern Age'. The Museum’s major spring exhibit showcases the best of British design and creative talent from 1948 to 2012, sixty four years during which artists and designers who were born, trained or working in the UK have produced innovative and internationally acclaimed works from post-war to the present day. The exhibition will bring together more than 300 objects featuring much-loved designs such as a 1961 E-type Jaguar car, an Alexander McQueen evening gown from the Horn of Plenty collection, fine art by Richard Hamilton and David Hockney.

Falling Light was commissioned by Swarovski Crystal Palace for Design Miami 2010.
