'Palindrome' / V&A London

Last week Troika installed Palindrome, a kinetic sign for the Victoria & Albert Museum. Placed in the arch of the V&A entrance in South Kensington tube station, the work is a public commission, which will undoubtedly function as a beacon of light for all looking to visit the museum. The sign also pays tribute to all the hidden treasures in the V&A collection. Troika's Palindrome, based on the existing V&A logo is made of three independently revolving parts. With each half turn the logo deconstructs and reconnects itself forming a playful palindrome.
